Although not as well known in the competitive L4D community, the TWL Power Ladder has many registered teams. The ladder seems to be relatively inactive, possibly due to the holidays and the freshness of the game, but some teams seem to be getting games going. Check out TWL's Left 4 Dead forums by clicking HERE.

Taking the lead in Left 4 Dead competitions, GameBattles launched their "Left 4 Dead Arena" on December 19th. This ladder currently has 32 teams playing with some clear leaders in Professional Street Crossers, .exe, Farmhands, Foreign Legion, MoB Gaming, and We Have Control. The CAL forums are abuzz with discussion over the future of competitive Left 4 Dead. Yesterday, CAL|Cannata posted a poll asking "Should matches be 3 map or 5 map formats?" and there are already two pages of discussion (click HERE to go to the thread). Likewise, a community member named dmonixed created a poll asking "Should CAL wait for the next update before starting season 1?" and there are 56 votes so far (click HERE to go to the thread). There are players searching for L4D teams, clans organizing community tournaments for fun, and private server comparisons. Be sure to post on our forums if you have an opinion about either of the polls mentioned above and make a point of voting in those polls!
