Zack
These are predictions of who I think the top two teams in each of the 8 groups.
Group A - Group A seems to be the easiest group on the list with the only known team in there being Area 51, I give them the number one spot, and I give Frag Gaming the number two spot. I also predict this group to have the most FFs. A51 lucks out with this group.
Group B - This group has one big powerhouse name, and a name we all know. I give this group to Blight.dpv with the runners up being All 4 Dead. Expect those two teams to win every match except for when they play eachother, which would lead to a Blight victory. Blight will go undefeated in this group.
Group C - Probaby one of the more difficult groups. With 4 big names like HAUSEN, Excessive gaming, MoB, and Dropouts. This group will be led by HAU- MoB with the return of Madyak and Railz. Second place will be decided by the match between Dropouts and eXcessive gaming.
Group D - A decent group that could have had a lot of potential if mollywhop would have played, and if MoBdeep could fill their roster. I give this group to No Parking with our modders Downtown and Frustian doin work. The runner up in this group will be Blight.rage, but it certainly will be a close match between them and No Parking.
Group E - Eximius Sports should have this group in the bag, but with their lack of activity it could be difficult going up against Blight.Nao. I give Eximius the win though due to their high amount of skill in a lot of different games.
Group F - Another difficult Group with Domination, Black Ops Squadron(still need 4 though), Exodus, and Immortal 7. I give Domination the first place with Immortal 7 being the runner up. Watch out for Exodus trying to spoil I7s fun though!
Group G - This is going to be the most active and difficult group. Detox Gaming, FRx. MT2, v i r (ai), and vVV all in one group. I give MT2 the first place with no challenge, but battle for second will be between v i r and vVv, but don't count out FRx. trying to squeeze in there for the 2nd place. This will be the group to watch.
Group H - This group has Iono, Hostile Faction, and Just 4 Fame. With J4F losing to Stock. last night, I have to give them the first [Hostile Faction] place spot and a very close match between Iono and J4F will determine the second place winner, which I see Iono pulling out some pizzaz and taking the 2nd place spot.

Blight.dpv > It's on my face! - Blight.dpv should still be a powerhouse coming into l4d2 with BlackBelt, and Kral. It's on my face! doesn't ring a bell in my mind so I give it to DPV
Area 51 Gaming > _TheRapists_ - Area 51 with a strong roster of Korn, mata, killatoy, and chris, I don't see them getting raped by the unknown Rapists here!
Domination > Hex - Domination is a new team forming with some big names like Metal, Joshy, Vector, RightClick, and Mayhem, expect this team to make a run for the finals spot, but we have seen teams with HUGE potential get to cocky and not do well in the team portions. Only name I recognize is Static|X from HeX.
Just 4 Fame > Stock. - Could be the match of the week. The only match with known players on the rosters. J4F with Infested, and doC. Then Stock. with the infamous fourtyse7en and Hobo joe. Stock. however seems new and uprising, and J4F has been around for a while thats why I give the win to J4F
Team Mother Teresa > Fatally Reduced Swingers Club - MT² is a new hyped of team with Wuped, Visceral, and ché. Once again though, no names on the other team so MT² gets the win.
Vortex > Hostile Faction - Another good match for early in the tournament. Vortex is a new team with some familiar names like kola, peeps, gothlips, and chew. On the other side we have Aetch Sidewaysbox, and virus. However with kola and peeps being some really good l4d1 players I'm giving this to Vortex.
Blight.rage > Emergency Sex Change - another blight team of the three blights there are, they have a few names out there like wook, and pink floyd, and they are going against some no namers so I give them the win.
Eximius > Layman's Terms - This should be a blowout. I see eximius going to the finals with there rockin roster of Jam, Kaja, Dan, and whoever there 4th starter is, cheesy, or Mike tyson. Either way they have an awesome team brewing and will still be a top 3 team in l4d2.

The series keeps on rolling. I'm loving the feedback I've been getting for it. If you like the comic, you can help out by spreading the word around.

Valve has announced the first game add-on for its co-operative zombie thriller, Left 4 Dead 2, is in development and targeted for release in early 2010. Dubbed “The Passing,” the first game add-on for L4D2 brings the original Left 4 Dead (L4D1) Survivors down south for a meeting with the L4D2 cast, while delivering new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay for the PC and Xbox 360.
Targeted for release in early spring, “The Passing” takes place just after the Dead Center campaign of L4D2. Set in a small town in rural Georgia, players assume the role of the L4D2 Survivors as they meet with the L4D1 characters. In addition to the new co-operative campaign and associated narrative, “The Passing” will include new arenas for Survival, Versus and Scavenge mode and introduce a new co-operative challenge mode of play. The Passing will also include a new “uncommon common” zombie class, melee weapon, and firearm.
“The Passing will become the most important campaign in the Left 4 Dead story, as all the Survivors are being called together in one campaign,” said Doug Lombardi, VP of marketing at Valve. “It will also be a huge offering of new gameplay content, with something new for every game mode plus a new uncommon common and weaponry.”
Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing is targeted for release in early spring for the PC and Xbox 360. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.

The kinds folks over at CEVO have finally released the Scavenger Schedules. Looks Like they'll be some good match ups in group play. Top 2 teams from each group continue onto playoffs. This is also open scheduling. This means you can schedule any match in any order you want as long as they're all played by Jan 11th. Good luck to all.
